Labor Day in İstanbul

Istanbul will experience tecrübe etmek an extraordinary day on May the 1st. for the first time since 1977 the famous Taksim Square, known as the heart of Europe's biggest city, will officially be opened for all workers to celebrate May Day.
Traffic flow akın is expected to be heavy in the mentioned söyleme quarters of the city.
This is the first year since 1977 the government has approved onaylamak May Day celebrations in İstanbul's Taksim Square due to dolayı the 1977 Taksim Square Massacre katliam, in which more than 30 people were killed after shots were fired in the midst of May Day celebrations kutlama. However, İstanbul Governor Muammer Güler has announced that the municipality would allow labor unions to celebrate this year's May Day in Taksim Square unless they engage in violent acts.
Some roads closed
Those who will attend May Day celebration in legendary Taksim Square will convene toplanmak in corteges after gathering in three different locations. One cortege will gather in Dolmabahçe Palace in Beşiktaş, another will gather on Halaskargazi Caddesi (venue) and last one in Şişhane neighborhood. Corteges will unite birleşmek in Taksim Square after walking through these routes. Police forces will allow corteges in control through checkpoints at Divan crossroads, Tarlabaşı neighborhood location, in front of Beyoğlu police headquarters building and Gümüşsuyu Hospital.
Some roads will be closed to traffic to enforce security precautions önlem. Istiklal Caddesi, Kazancı Yokuşu and Sıraselviler Caddesi will be closed to motor vehicles araç. Istanbul metro will be working only until Mecidiyeköy station and will not come to Meydan station. Funicular system shuttling gidip gelmek between Taksim Maydan and Kabataş will not be working. Motor vehicles will not be allowed in any locations circled with police barricades.
