Turkey 1st in Europe, 3rd in world for mine accidents

Prof. Tevfik Güyagüler said that Turkey has the first place in Europe and third place in the world for mine accidents.
After the tragic mine gas explosion in Zonguldak, which resulted in the death of dozens düzine of mine workers, the topic of job security in the mines has once again came to the agenda gündem.
Prof. Tevfik Güyagüler, from the Mining Engineering department of METU, told that after the accident he has found an old report they have prepared in 1983 on the topic, and understood that none of their recommendations tavsiye have been realized.
Güyagüler said that Turkey has the first place in Europe and third place in the world for mine accidents. Güyagüler also claimed that these accidents can be avoided kaçınmak up to 95%.
This accident has been the third mine accident in 5 months.
The workers had protested PM Erdoğan while he was visiting the city of Zonguldak. Workers have also made protests against the privatizations özelleştirme, of which they claimed that the results are seen in these accidents.

Kılıçdaroğlu is the new chairman of CHP

Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu has been chosen as the new party chairman başkan in the CHP congress.
In the congress of the Republican People's Party (CHP), which came weeks after an alleged iddia edilen"bedroom video" of the ex-chairman Deniz Baykal and party MP Nesrin Baytok, Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu has been chosen as the new chairman.
Kılıçdaroğlu, who entered the congress as the only candidate for the chairmanship, got 1189 votes from 1197 delegates that have cast votes. 8 votes were invalid sakat.
