Program for Int'l Istanbul Music Festival announced

The program for the International Istanbul Music Festival has been announced. The festival, which will take place olmak between June 3 and 30, will welcome over 500 local yerli and foreign artists in its 38th year and present stars Arvo Pärt, Lang Lang and one of the most important orchestras of classical music, the Vienna Philharmonic.
At this year's festival, organized by the Istanbul Foundation for Culture and Arts, or İKSV, and sponsored by Borusan, there will be 21 events including içermek symphony and chamber fotoğraf makinesi orchestras, vocal concerts, chamber music, recitals and jazz improvisations doğaçlama. As an addition to the classic venues buluşma yeri of the festival such as the Hagia Eirene Museum, the Archaeology Museum, the Tiled Kiosk, and the Süreyya Opera House, the Haliç Convention Center will also participate.
The 2010 Honorary Award of the 38th International Istanbul Music Festival will be presented to the famous composer besteci Yalçın Tura. Tura will receive his award on the opening night of the festival on June 3.
The Lifetime yaşamboyu Achievement başarı Award of the festival is presented to Pärt. He will be presented his award on June 7, before the world premiere gala concert of the composer's work Adam's Lament ağıt by the Estonian Philharmonic Chamber Choir.
The festival will open with the concert by Borusan İstanbul Philharmonic Orchestra,conducted yönetmek by Gürer Aykal at the Museum of Hagia Eirene on June 3.
