EBay to own 93 percent of Turkish e-commerce site

EBay, owner of the world’s biggest e-commerce marketplace pazar yeri, announced Tuesday that it has agreed to acquire almak additional fazladan share hisse in Turkish e-commerce website GittiGidiyor.com.
The deal anlaşma follows eBay’s acquisition of a minority stake hisse in the company in 2007. With this latest share acquisition, eBay will own nearly 93 percent of the outstanding dikkate değer shares of GittiGidiyor.com.
The companies did not disclose açıklamak the terms yakınlık of the deal.
“Launched başlamak on Feb. 5, 2001, GittiGidiyor.com has more than 6.4 million registered kayıtlı users,” said a company statement. “Its business model is complementary tamamlayıcı to eBay’s with the addition of a mandatory zorunlu escrow sözleşme service for payments between buyer and seller.”
